The H-International Schools are proud to announce that our Digital Learning Coaches Lyndsey Stuttard and Ruggero Cortese have officially become Apple Distinguished Educator. This is an important achievement, both for them, as well as for our school, and is a confirmation of constant growth in the quality of our didactics and in the prestige of our teachers.
Lyndsey and Ruggero are the only Apple Distinguished Educators 2019 that teach in an international school. Currently, there are around 2.447 ADEs in the world, of which 900 across Europe, Africa and Asia.
The Apple Distinguished Educators program was created in 1994 by Apple to recognise pioneers in primary and secondary education who use Apple products to transform education and revolutionize our lives. Now in its 25th year, the program has grown to become a worldwide community of over 2.800 innovative leaders who help other teachers discover new ways to use iPad and Macs.
This summer, Lyndsey and Ruggero will participate in the three-day ADE Institute 2019 event, which will be held in the Netherlands, together with the others admitted to the class of 2019. During this event, they will be able to discuss the use of Apple technologies in the classroom and will create an international network.
