Reggio Children

Reggio Children s.r.l. - the International Center for the Defense and Promotion of the Rights and Potential of Children - adheres to the inspiration and values of the educational experience of the schools of the the city of Reggio Emilia.

Since 1994, Reggio Children has worked to promote the theoretical and practical patrimony of the city of Reggio’s educational services and to support and develop the centrality of education, the acquisition of knowledge, international mindedness and dialogue between different cultures.

With this purpose, Reggio Children manages the Loris Malaguzzi International Center as a place for research, training, innovation and experimentation of the Reggio Emilia Approach, for a new culture of childhood and education.

H-FARM and H-International School

H-FARM’s educational project is characterised by an innovative approach that revolutionises teaching and learning, helping students to develop their potential through dynamic teaching, the development of multi-disciplinary skills and the use of new educational tools.

It is unique in both Italy and Europe, as it is able to provide education for a comprehensive age range, from children aged 3 to Master’s degree students.

H-International School is the international school of H-FARM. The didactic programme follows the curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), implementing and strengthening it with original didactic modules on the themes of technology and entrepreneurship, created and designed together with H-FARM Education.

Mission statement

H-International School aims to build a community which fosters creativity, international mindedness and positive relationships built on mutual respect. We strive to encourage children’s natural curiosity, and we create innovative and stimulating learning environments, filled with opportunities for independent inquiry and exploration of personal interests. We aspire for our children to become life long learners, and take action to improve the world by feeling confident about expressing themselves, their cultures and their opinions.

Nursery and Kindergarten

H-IS Mandorla consults and collaborates with Reggio Children, which has been entrusted with the development of the school’s pedagogical and organisational structure, the educational environment and the training of educational personnel.

The enrollment of children at the Nursery and Kindergarten is a conscious choice on behalf of families who wish to have an active and responsible role in the educational and cultural values, as well as the organisation, of the school.

PYP - Primary Years Programme
