I was born in Treviso in 1967. I graduated in Law from the University of Parma and I have since become a professional jazz saxophonist. After two years of forensic practice, I decided to pursue the profession of musician and started teaching Law and Economics at Collegio Vescovile Pio X, the same one I attended after classical high school.
Since 2002, I have written textbooks on Law and Political Economics for ParaMond, now Pearson Italia, with over ten publications on these subjects. In 2013, I started Pio X International, a four-year International school leading to the prestigious IB International Diploma , recognized worldwide, including Italy. In January 2016 I took the role of Head of School at H-International School.
A revolutionary environment that fosters the confrontation of some fundamental paradigms in one's life: education, training, and professional and career development.
I have always wanted to become a teacher and all my studies have been focused on achieving this goal.
After my University Graduation I taught in various Italian state schools and then in 1997 I joined EIS English International School of Rosà today called H-IS Rosà.
I believe in a school which is capable of encouraging their students to becoming honest and balanced people, who are also dynamic and open to new experiences, with an ability to collaborate with others in all types of situations.
As Head of School I am supported by an amazing staff made up of dynamic and motivated people. I have every confidence in their abilities and professionalism.
I thank them for their support as well as all the students who make my job very intense but also full of joy.
I was born in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. I graduated with an Honours Degree in English Literature with a Minor degree in French. I later attended Western University where I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Education.
I first started teaching in 1997 in an elementary school but expanded my teaching repertoire to middle school. I arrived in Italy in 2000 and immediately started teaching English, Literature and History at EIS Rosà.
For the last four years I’ve been coordinating the Middle School and now have become Deputy Head. I'm looking forward to this new IB curriculum, which will foster an even more creative approach to learning.
Teaching remains an important part of what I do but it is also participating in the journey my students take in becoming life-long learners and constructive members of society that is the most rewarding.
I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was one, my family came to live in Italy for a few years. We returned to Canada in my elementary years, where I then graduated from York University (Toronto) and D’Youville College (Buffalo, N.Y.).
Teaching was my lifelong dream and so when I became a teacher it was with great satisfaction and joy. I moved to Italy in 2004 (to fulfill another dream) and the school became my second home. I have been the international elementary coordinator for about 7 years and now the PYP coordinator, as we begin our journey in the IB world.
I am honoured to be a part of this journey and to be able to continue to do the best we can to enrich our children, to contribute in developing an internationally-minded child and to help in giving our students the tools to make this world a better place to live.
